what's the meaning of "He was always at them" in "He was always at them to come there on a visit and they would spend hours talking of that." in the context?
Here is the text:
"They wanted the drawings explained, and Hal said they were like two children wanting to know every little detail Hal could remember their son's life in the big city. He was always at them to come there on a visit and they would spend hours talking of that."
