What's the meaning

of going up 10 folds here?

The comment was made after a poster learned a technique to posing in pictures to be more photogenic.

"My facebook pic whoring/narcissism is about to go up 10 motherfuc**** folds."

'folds' is wrong, by the way. It should be the singular 'fold'.

Things can go up (or down) five-fold, ten-fold, fifty-fold, whatever. It means five times, ten times, 50 times, etc.

From 10 to 30 is a three-fold increase.
