What's the meaning

of across in across three employees?

"(btw as a trainee not even making min wage i saved 10 man hours a week across three employees and the ****ers still never took me on full time despite my manager and the trainers i worked with going to bat for me, they got a much less competent series of trainees to do the same position which led to the training agencies stopping sending them trainees, lol)"
