What's the meaning

of emotion-dead?

P1: "Encourage him to sign up for the Royal Marines when he's of age. Will grow up fast."

P2: "LOL yes the military is such a great idea! holy **** how do people think this is a great solution still? Hasn't this been the knee-jerk solution for emotion-dead parents for the last 60 years?"

"emotion-dead" is not grammatically correct. Perhaps, "emotionally-dead", but the meaning implied here is something simliar to "emotionless" - having/showing no emotion.
