What's the meaning

of point of reference and editing? These are comments about a show.

P1: "Patricia is also a lot worse at everything."

P2: "Your only point of reference is what Aubrey tells you."

P1: "Well, and the editing. The Crystal Light execs said Aubrey was a star, as well."
