What's the meaning?

of run here?

"When did you first learn what money is? "

"When I was in preschool (4?) the teacher brought cupcakes and said she put a
quarter underneath one of them.

I ran good and it was my first money."

It is not standard English, and not an idiom. It's badly written and using the normal definition of the verb
