You can use Adverb Now instead of it or none. EX:They are holding a press briefing (now). We make am,is,are Simple Present (Be) and write Will before it.

1) They are holding a press briefing tomorrow:

If this sentence describes an action at the present, with am,is,are and V-ing (Holding) Then, you shouldn't use Adverb Tomorrow, because it's usually used in Future Tenses. You can use Adverb Now instead of it or none.

EX:They are holding a press briefing (now).

Woohoo...I got it now,my friend!
They are holding a press briefing tomorrow is totally correct!
The are holding means it's future.
If i said ''I am holding this toy.''
That means i'm doing it now.But since a press conference is not an Object,it's used for future

The present progessive tense CAN be used for future action when the future time is close to the moment of speaking, according to one reference book.

So "They are holding a press briefing tomorrow." is correct.
