What's the difference between "in line with" & "in agreement with"?
Hi friends:
I have a question about an English test as below.
In with the government and central bank forecasts, consumer prices in 2000 grew 1.2 percent from a year earlier, government figures showed Monday. a)line b)compatible c)compliance d)agreement
The answer is a). I'm wondering why the option "agreement" is incorrect.
I suppose "in line with" and "in agreement with" have the same meaning!
