What's the difference?
I'm still in same place and someone found me.
And then I say "how did you know I was here?" or "How did you know I am here?" I think I'm here is more natural because I'm still in same place and didn't move!
Am I right? I'm so confused

plumtt12"how did you know I was here?"Before he found you, he knew where to go. (All this happened in the past.) It doesn't matter where you are at the moment of speaking. You are talking about the past.
