What's the difference?

Hi teachers,

What's the difference between 'to dress' and 'get dressed'?

Could you give an example?

To dress is the base verb. You need to add a pronoun/noun after it. I'll help dress you etc. Unless you use 'myself' as the pronoun then it is an action you do to somebody or something else.

Get dressed is dressing yourself.
