What's the correct collocation for postal insurance?

Dear Users,
When at the post office, what exactly do I have to say if I want to buy some kind of insurance for a parcel that I'm sending?

Is it possible to buy insurance for this parcel?
Can I get insurance for this parcel?

I don't think inusrance collocates well with put ?

Thanks

Thanks.

Can I also say:

Can I have this parcel insured?

Sure, that's even better.
You can also ask about types of insurance.

If you have the parcel in your hand or in front of you on the counter, it's more common to simply refer to it as 'this' instead of 'this parcel'.
