[what's the best word] siimilar to put aside or left behind?

Dear Users,

I'm looking for the right word/expression that would fit into this context:

I finished writing all the comments and graded all the midterms, but because of that all the previous assignments that I meant to grade got:

a) left behind
b) put aside
c) stranded
d) sidelined

I don't know if those work. If not, are there better words/expressions?

Thanks

A good idiom is: all the previous assignments that I meant to grade were put on the back burner. Changing the wording a bit: the grading of all previous assignments was deferred. the grading of all previous assignments was postponed.
