What's "It's gone way past sb" ?

0I don't understand what does it mean " it's gone way past sb". This is from the news titled " Phone Sex Number Worries Parents" .. and the following is a quote from parents. 02br

00That quote was just about unintelligible. Maybe it makes more sense in context. I think the "it's gone way past these kids" means that there were far more people involved than "these kids."0-
