What's it like in Kunming?
hi guys!
anybody out there who is currently living, teaching english or studying in kunming? i am also currently looking into studying chinese language at either Yunnan Uni or Kunming ECLC for a year and hoping to do some english teaching (or any other job where my english communications skills may be of use) on the side. can anyone fill me in on living standards in kunming, whether it's better to live on or off campus, how easy or hard it is to find a job, how much can one realisitically make, etc. and other stuff?
by the way, i'm filipina and would also appreciate any racism issues (if there are) when job hunting in kunming.

hi nice to meet u ` first of all, i don't have any job for u , it's my first time been here , saw your post. i'm chinese , of course i have been to KunMing ,because my sisiter is studing in kunming university of science and technology, it seem your english communication skills are quite useful for the student from the university, so why not ask for a job there? by the way , u are living in kunming , right ?
