What's it like doing s/thing?

Hi,

I got a question regarding the usage of the sentence in the title, as follows:

1,What's the difference between "What's it like doing s/thing" and "What's it like to do s/thing"? Are they interchangeable?

2,If someone asks you "What's it like making a presentation in front of so many experts for the first time?", what would your answer possibly be?

Thank you very much for your help!!!
