What's going on in this noun phrase?

In the noun phrase "one of my favorite pictures that I've taken," is "favorite" an adjective or an attributive noun? (I think the Cambridge Grammar of the English Language refers to attributive nouns/noun adjuncts as "nominals," but I'm not entirely sure.

I'm curious because the possessive pronoun my in "my favorite pictures" doesn't seem to refer to the pictures themselves. It doesn't answer the question "Whose pictures?" It answers the question "Whose favorite?" So... attribute noun, then? Hmm!

Thanks in advance!

g. "my least favourite pictures"). The double modification "my" and "that I've taken" is a bit awkward, though this does not directly affect your question.

It's an adjective (it can be modified by some adverbs, e.g. "my least favourite pictures").
