Hi
Could you please tell me if this dialogue is natural and the register is OK.
(B calls A and tells him that he and his wife are coming to A's city)
A - About what time will you be getting here?
B- In an hour or so. But you mustn't wait or change your plans.
A- Why not?
B- Because we may get caught in other things. We are not very sure of our schedule. Please continue to do whatever you were doing. We just made you a hasty call.
A- I don't have much to do. Just a bit of a plan to drop in on my sister's.
B- Then don't let us be an obstacle in your plan.
Thanks,
Tom
Pretty good. Here are a few edits. B calls A that he and his wife are coming to A's city) A - About what time will you be getting here?

This is not natural. Go back in the dialog to the beginning of the call to see how A informed B of their arrival, and how B responded. It is quite unnatural to go on and on with "Don't change your plans" and "We made this call in haste". Characters have to think before they act and before they talk.
