Whatever

There is a sentence: Don't keep him waiting whatever you do.

And my question is: is the whatever, in the sentence, a conjunction or a pronoun - an object of the verb do ? Is the do a transitive verb here?

Thank you.

Yes, a pronoun object of transitive 'do'. The clause is adverbial, I suppose.
