I seem to have made a mistake as far as it concerns my contact person at the univerity. The following is happended. There is a person who is responsible for my admission at the university. I had some questions and I tried to conatct the international office. Now they not only didn't answer my questions but they forwarded me to my adove mentioned advisor. I think now my advisor is upset about this and wrote me to contact him directly if there is unclarities in the future. How should I answer polite? I want to say that in the future I will contact him directly and never conatct a third party, but on the other hand I don't want to excuse. I hope you get my point. This is his email:
"Hi Kai:
I fully understand your situation. I suggest you contact Al if you have any questions. She will refer you to the right person if she cannot help.
Good luck with your exams.
may"
thank you in advance

Hi, My advice is simply to not reply at all. I don't think that the writer is expecting a reply. Clive
