What would you think

Dear people,

How would you interpret the following sentence?

I am not sure what it really means.

In a tight spot there is no one I would sooner see than Frank.

[Source: Collins COBUILD English Dictionary]

I would make of it this way:

All I'd love to turn to in a very difficult situation would be Frank.

What would you think?

Sincerely,

Ray
