What would be the correct word for this?

When there are too many unsold products in a stock, a shop try to sell them for the cheaper price than actually they are in order to sell them at fast pace. How would describe this with a verb.

What does this mean ' to clear out the products'?

I can only guess with no context. I guess it means to get them out of the store, probably by selling them.
