what word means .... ?

Hi, what word can I use to mean a person who doesn't tolerate offences. Like a king, only likes what's right, and doesn't tolerate anything against him.

Top answer

I can't think of a noun off the top of my head, but the adjective "indignant" means exactly what you're describing. An indignant ***. An indignant jerk.

I mean not in a bad way.

Like a fair and just king or president who doesn't like anyone to break the laws.

or like the justice system that doesn't tolerate lawbreakers/offences.

I'd like to know if there's a word that means "doesn't tolerate offences."

Hi,

How about strict?

strict sounds too rigid. like just following rules.

Is there a beautiful word to mean this?
maybe a word using -ness
like unoffendedness, inoffendableness, etc. (but I know unoffended means something like no problem and inoffendable means like nothing bothers you, so these might not be the right words)

uncompromising, unyielding

If you're looking for a noun to describe the quality, "rectitude", perhaps?
