What will the result be if vs what the result be if

Hello everyone,

While I was revising posts in this forum I came up with a question but I really couldn't understand the answer given for it. I will be happy if any of you could answer it.

Thanks in advance. Emotion: smile

What will the result be if ... asks for the identifying information that specifies the result. (Inversion of The result will be what?) (Ans: The result will be ... if ...)
What will be the result if ... asks for the the entity being identified as the result. (Ans: ... will be the result if ...)

I really wonder the difference between two sentences above but I didn't find the given answer clear enough for my imaginary. ( I give a picture for every declaration but i couldn't find for this.Anyway, it is something strange. :: )

Ps: I really don't kow who gave the answer or I don't want to blame anyone. I just want another way of explanation.
