What verb...

Dear All,

What verb or expression would you use to say that someone is "treating a child with fond indulgence" (or rather overindulgence); I mean in words and actions, not necessarily physically, with hugs or caresses?

Could you help me, please? Thank you...

Thank you, AlpheccaStars... I'm a bit confused because I've been looking for a verb which hints rather at the manner of how or what these people are doing than the result of it; a concrete verb whose meaning focuses on their action, how they're treating the child when they are together, not a general term like spoil is. (But I know I wasn't precise enough in my question.)

They indulge their child.
They indulge the child's every whim.
The child has them wrapped around his/her little finger.
They let that kid get away with murder! (very informal!)

Then just put it in a continuous tense.

She is spoiling her child.

Maybe this alternative:

She dotes on her child.
