What use?

Hi there,

An article in the Economist about Brexit starts a paragraph with a sentence: "Everything depends on what use Britain’s competing political factions make of a delay in the Brexit timetable. " I am a little confused by this sentence and have no idea about the meaning of this sentence. What's the meaning of "what use" in the sentence? Could someone be so kind to illustrate the the meaning of this sentence to me? Many thanks!
