What type of sentence is it? past perfect tense?

This is a first time i see this type of sentence below, is there any particular name for this kind of sentence? what is it?

Last weekend would not have been half so/as much fun had it not been for your company and

"Last weekend would not have been half so/as much fun" is a plain past conditional

"had it not been for your company and laughter!" is another way of saying if it "had not been for your company and laughter!"

In short "had I the money " = "if I had the money" AND "were I rich" = "If I was rich"
