What type is this clause ?

Yesterday, I got a quite tricky sentence (unless for me):

I met a student yesterday who was with me five years ago.

I know sound everything is Okay. But if u closer look at "who was with me five ....", what is the type of this clause ? I don't thing neither nominal clause nor adj clause!

I will appreciate it if anyone explain it to me.

Thnkx in advance.

Hi,
While it's generally a good idea to place a relative clause imediately after the noun it relates to, that is not an absolute rule. The way the original sentence is written is fine. It's very easy for the reader to see that 'who' relates to 'a student'.

Best wishes, Clive
