What to call the opposite side of Back?

I can call the inner side of Jacket: Back Fabric. Then, what to call the opposite side of back fabric?
Outer Material? Outer side of the clothes? Or what?
And I feel OUTER means the opposite one of the inner clothing. Jacket, Coat, Blouson or the like. Is this wrong English?

Thanks for your answer.
And I want to know the additional thing.
That is:
We Japanese often call OUTER for Jackets, Coats and a like against inner wear. Then, I want to know whether good or not. And if the word doesn't mean that kind of clothing, what to call like that?
Best regards!

I think it is confusing. 'Inner wear' to me seems like underwear. I suggest just using 'coats and sweaters'.

Thank you so much! Your advice is so good for me. I'll never say OUTER for jackets, coats and sweaters.

Call the inside layer of your jacket the 'lining', eg 'The outer layer of my jacket is waterproof, and the lining keeps me warm.'
