What time/when

I have planned to teach idiomatic sentences and phrases to my students to improve their speaking skills. Like "What time do you....." I'm making a few sentence using this phrase. Please tell me are these correct:

* What time do you get up/go to bed/come to school/come to home?

* What time do you have your lunch/breakfast/dinner?

* What time do you do your homework/the dishes/offer your salah?

Secondly, please tell me can we replace what time with when? Like when do you get up? Would it have the same meaning and the same answer?

Top answer

sundarnaz * What time do you get up/go to bed/come to school/ come to home ? The last one should be go home or get home depending on whether you mean the time that you leave somewhere to begin your journey home or, the time that you finish the journey and arrive at your front door. * What time do you do your homework/the dishes/ offer your salah ?

  • These are fine but, I can't comment about the highlighted part because I am unfamiliar with it.
