What time do you report to work?

Hi,

I have been coming here, but I haven't been posting for ages.

Things have changed so much.

It looks better!

...

Can you say "What time do you report to work?"

It's in one of Korean English grammer books...and someone asked me the meaning of the sentence.

I learned to say "What time do you report for work", and I don't know whether it makes a big difference by using "to" instead.

Could anyone please clarify this?

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

Where I live, that sound a bit formal. I usually hear 'What time do you start work?'

Best wishes, Clive
