I am talking to someone about money and I want to say:
I spent more money than I earned. (both spening money and earning are not finished actions because I can earn some money and spend them) what tense should I use?
I have spent more money than I have earned?
Thanks for help.
Top answer
Yes, if you haven't finished laying waste your powers getting and spending, use present perfect : I have spent more money than I have earned.
