What should I say in that situation?

Hi teachers,

My co-worker and I were always working on similar tasks. However, he finished the his task very quickly . When he said to me he had done with that work everytime, I felt a kind of pressure and uncomfortable. I wanted to tell him that what he said was always like putting spur on me, I was still busy doing my job. Is there any more common ways in English to express that meaning?

thanks in advance.

It wasn't a serious situation. I'd like to know what I should say or cope with that situation in North America culture. Can you suggest how you make some little joke about it? Is there a joking way to say that "you're putting a lot of pressure on me "? Or any idioms or slangs that could be used?

Sure, just say it in an exaggerated way that sounds like you are serious, but smile and laugh while you are saying it. S
