What should I do to improve my English?

I'm an English Literature graduate, but I have so many grammatical and spelling mistakes. I have difficulties when i'm writing anything.
Today for example: a friend called me to ask about the difference between using going to and will, I know the difference but i could not tell here the grammatical rule. This is just an example to what i'm facing Emotion: sad

but we are having some "conditions" which prevented me from going out to any class

I do not like memorizing, that's why i'm here
to use English as much as I could, with people that could help me and correct my mistakes without ridiculing me.
At the same time, i'm sure that my spelling will be improved.
