Hi,
Please check if I have used the phrase 'a little' right and if they are right, please tell me what sentential element each of them is.
1. I have a little rice. (an quantifier, I think.)
2. I know English a little. (an adverb, I think.)
3. It is a little rough/rusty. (an adverb modifying an adjective??)
4. He plays a little rough. (A quantifying adjective modifying an adverb?)
