what pronoun should i use if i know a person but don't know the gender?

hi, i'm just wondering if i indicate some one, i know he is obviously a human Emotion: smile but

i don't know the gender, what pronoun should you use?

my case was like the real estate agent sends someone to have a look at my house;

and i asked him 'what time is...going to come?'

i didn't know saying he or she or even it or what to call..

In your particular case, you could say "what time are they going to come?"

But in general it's safe to say "what time is he going to come?"

If you insist on being politically correct, you could also say "what time is he/she going to come?"

In my opinion, "What time the buyer is going to vist?" would be more suitable in this context.
