What part of speech is the underlined word?
What time does it become light in the morning?
Is the word light in the above sentence noun or adjective?
If I try to answer the question it would be..... It becomes light at 6 a.m. So light here in this answer is an adjective because it is a description to the pronoun it.
In another sentence I would say .... It becomes hot at the midday. And hot is an adjective in this sentence, so if we compare the two sentences "hot is an adjective so light is an adjective" . Please tell me if I were right or wrong.
