which is the correct form?

what would the world be like without...?
or
how would the world be like?

I know that what is the correct form but what about the how form? Can it be used and how?

which is the correct form?

what would the world be like without...? Fine

or

how would the world be like? Fine, as changed.

eg How would the world be, without war? (I prefer the comma)

I know that what is the correct form but what about the how form? Can it be used and how?
