What my new address was or is?

Hi. Let's say a certain person hasn't have a chance to tell his friend what his new address was (is?), and when he receives a call from the same friend, what verb should he use for the underlined part to say what I just said. Thank you in advance for your help.

Sorry. I didn't tell you what my new address was (or is?).

You may use either 'was' or 'is'. However, you may not use 'hasn't have'.
