What moth?

Hello,

Could you tell me, please, what moth (or whatever) you call the annoying moth variety which occurs in people's homes and means a danger to people's food, clothes etc.?

The one pictured here does, indeed, dress differently than those we had in Colorado while I was growing up, and I don't remember that they got into foodstuffs. and we used moth ***** to counteract their activity in closets and chests.

The one pictured here does, indeed, dress differently than those we had in Colorado while I was growing up, and I don't remember that they got into foodstuffs. We called them miller moths....and we used moth ***** to counteract their activity in closets and chests.

Thanks a lot, Philip! I did some search again typing in 'miller moths' this time and now I found the names!!

It seems there are varieties of the moth type in the picture; their names around the world can be meal moths, food moths, flour moths, grain moths, seed moths, and pantry moths (
