What means the verb to do in this case

Hi, I'm doing the exercise.

In the text the man spoke about future. He predicted future events. He told that in the future the cultural and national boundaries would become meaningless.
Then he said "It will have less and less to do with people's loyalties, less and less to do with people's daily lives.

I am not sure I understood what did he mean. Could anybody rephrase this sentance?

Thank you))))

It means "relate to" or "be connected with."

National boundaries will have less and less of a relation to people's loyalties and daily lives.

Didn't understand ((( National boundaries will not connect with people's daily life?
Maybe it's not about boundaries?
I'll write the previous sentence:

It's true than nationalosm seems surprisingly powerful at this point of time, but I suspect that that won't last, that we will have moved to a sosiety where national boundaries and even cultural boundaries are increasingly mean

People in the past were very loyal to their own country. They would sing the nation's anthem, display the flag, wear nationalistic clothes, and even die for their country. This was called "nationalism."

THe writer is saying that nationalism will decline. People will not have such strong feelings for their country in the future. People will not feel as loyal to their country and culture.
