Hi,
A dodgy typo!

In BrE, 'thick' is slang for 'stupid'. eg Tom is really thick. eg He's as thick as two bricks.

So 'What makes you thick?' is like 'What makes you stupid?'

LOL. I was going to say red beans and rice...Thick also means voluptuous, curves in all the right places. But it's kind of a slang term.

But anyway, when I go to reply I see that the typo has been corrected to "What makes you tick?" A clock ticks when it's running. It's a way of asking people, what motivates you? What are your hobbies, what causes are you are passionate about ? Hop

"What makes you thick" doesn't make sense in English. It certainly isn't idiomatic. You can talk about what makes someone tick, however, which means what motivates someone or what their way of thinking is.
For example, "Before you get married, you should understand what makes your future spouse tick," meaning how he or she thinks, what makes him or her angry, sad, happy, pensive, aggressive

Thick is a word used for those who think they’re fat, but really if they have big thighs and a slim stomach, they are known as thick and NOT stupid or fat. You can use this phrase by saying “dang you’re thicker than a snicker”
