Speech & Pronunciation

What makes you notice sb is not native speaker?

I know there could be a lot of things but what's the most noticeable one?
I mean, even among native speakers, some people have pronounciation problem due to broken teeth, short tongue, vocal cord problems but they DO sound like native speakers with just less accurate pronounciation of words. Is it intonation? accent? using uncommon words? rhythm?

For me, I'd say it's making a vowel anything other than a schwa in an unaccented syllable.
