Is this how you would say it? What about "What made me knew you would say that?"

Use the bare infinitive after let, make, have, and help when an object comes between.

Let me know. Make her begin. Have him wait. Help me finish.

There's no reason except that this is how they came to be used as the English language evolved over the centuries. They do have in common that they are causative in nature, however.
