0Can't say that I've heard of that happening in the UK either - and I've worked in HR. People may well pay a personal visit to a company to enquire about any vacancies, but they'd soon be sent packing if they demanded an interview. People who are registered as disabled can apply for jobs through a guaranteed interview scheme which means that they will definately be given an interview. That's the closest to it I can think of.02br
