What keeps you from...

Hi,

Which one is more appropriate? Or any other suggestions?

----------
(I want to ask what hold them back.)
What keeps you from using the same marketing strategy in Turkey?
What is the reason that keeps you to use the same marketing strategy in Turkey?

Thanks,
hadeka

The first is good, Hadeka; the second should be rewritten as:

'What is the reason that keeps you from using...?' (but this is overly wordy)

Other ways:

'What prevents you from using...'
'Why don't you use...'
'What holds you back from using...'

Hello Hadeka

#1 is ok-ish, but 'stops you from' might sound more natural.

#2 isn't correct. You could try:

'What is the reason for not using the same etc.'

Or:

'Why aren't you using the same marketing strategy in Turkey?'
'What prevents you from using the same marketing strategy in Turkey?'

Hi MrPedantic,

Thanks for your response. I decided to use "What prevents you..."

Sincerely,
