While paying Promotion way can be very effective and targeted, one of the best ways to promote your business through a passive approach by posting on forums (Forum Marketing).
The goal is to share something with other and start a business is open, NOT to sell anything directly. When you build a relationship with the people you are in the forum people will appreciate your advice and posts. You will be using a very subtle way to build your business.
You can use the following method:
1. Create high-quality reports and distribute them free of charge to them. No matter what you sell, the forum readers will appreciate this, especially if your content quality, this is a good way to approach them. But make sure you include a link to your site in your book it. Also includes Opt-in pages.(Remember what "guru" said? "the money in the list" )
2. Include your signature on any posts you are explaining about who you are, where you live, you are an expert in the field of what and why they should contact you. Also includes links to your site or your products.
3. Being a forum moderator without asking anything in return. This will be a little sacrifice of your time, but you will be "paid" in terms of credibility and authority that you get from them.
If you are not sure where you should start, go to Google and try searching for "your keyword forum" then Google will give a list of forums related to your site. Spent a few hours each week in several forums will give you lots of traffic. Searches know which forum is most profitable, and then invest
your time there to actively do a post.
That's a simple tip from me about doing Forum Marketing. Hopefully you can do it well and you will get a lot of traffic and your credibility.
