What is wrong with this sentence?

My daughter was asked to find what the grammar mistake is with the sentence below and neither she nor I can not find anything wrong with it. The sentence is:

"I felt bad. I shouldn't have said anything about the food."

Does anyone know what is wrong with this sentence? I guess I have forgotten what I learned....

Either: (1) I'm going completely mad, or (2) There is nothing wrong with that pair of sentences. Have the courage of your convictions. Tell teacher the extract is sound.

Rommie, there is another slim possibility. If the narrative is in the present tense then one should use "feel" rather than "felt". Having said that, those sentences are absolutely correct english in any way one can measure. As to the matter of "two equals one", I think that even if - which seems unlkely - we are wrong and there *** a grammatical error then we could quite rightly claim prior victo
