What is word order and when do we use it?

Could anyone tell me why this sentence is wrong-she can't decide which chain should she wear, the gold or the silver one.
My teachers say that it should be "...which chain she should wear" instead of the above stated. I know this has something to do with the word order, however, i am not sure what a word order actually is. Also, i do not know what people mean when they say that we should use the word order in a statement, and not a question. Please help me guys, thanks in advance! Emotion: smile

Hello firerypyro,
Taken alone, the phrase "which chain should she wear" is a question, similar to "Which train should I take?"
