I got an email, she wrote like this:I am so pleased you are happy with your placement in xxx. Don't be nervous, xxx will help you along the way.I have been able to get funding from xxx for two grad students going to UK, so if you get to travel when you are there I'll give you their emails so you can keep in touch. I think they will be a little warmer than you though.— I think they will be a little warmer than you though —Can somebody explain meaning of though here,please?

I don't know what she means by 'warmer'.  They could be more comfortable in the UK climate; they could be closer to receiving funding; or ?  The context suggests nothing.

I think they will be a little warmer than you though.- As I've already said, the context suggests no definitive meaning to me. If this were said about your personal friendliness, however, it would be slightly rude, I think.

Well, I guess I know what she means. Before that, Cahaya Kebahagiaan, you're from Malaysia right? Because "cahaya Kebahagiaan' are words in Malay language, and I am Malay.
Basicaly, this is kind of.. a direct translation from our language to English. Actually, what your friend is trying to say with 'warmer' is 'friendly and helpful'.

'They' here refers to two grad students going to UK. So, she said, if you really are going to UK later, she will give you their phone numbers/contact numbers so that you can keep in touch with them.
