Many kind thanks in advance for anyone who can tell me what verb tense is the following:
Having had a bad time, I left the party.
Is 'having had' past continous tense? I know it isn't past perfect continous tense, as the word 'been' is a part of that verb tense (e.g. I had been working for six years when I got fired.)
Thank you.

Hi PMB; What you are asking about is a present perfect participial phrase. It is a modifier acting as an adjective, not a verb.
